Comparison of stainless steels
If you are interested in another material than AISI304 we can make you an offer in another material:
AISI 304 (standard production)
Other designation: X5CrNi 18-10, 1.4301, 17240, „food industry“
Austenitic stainless steel, chromium-nickel and low carbon nickel. Resistant to water, steam, atmospheric moisture, weak acids and weak alkalis. Suitable for industrial atmospheres. Do not use products containing chlorine. Steel is not magnetic.
Other designation: X5CrNiMo 17-12-2, 1.4401, 17346, „industrial“
Austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium, nickel and low carbon molybdenum. Resistant to water, seawater, water vapor and air humidity. Suitable for industrial atmospheres. Resistant against preparations containing chlorine, moderately concentrated acids and alkalis, with the exception of nitric acid. Steel is not magnetic.
Other designation: X6Cr17, 1.4016, 17040
Ferritic stainless steel with low carbon chromium. Resistant to water, steam, atmospheric moisture, weak acids and weak alkalis. Suitable for use in interiors and non-industrial atmospheres. Do not use products containing chlorine or mineral salts. Steel is magnetic.
