Klaro has purchased a new fibre cutting laser from an Italian manufacturer BLM Group. It will replace the previously used machine, which no longer had been meeting our production needs in terms of capacity. The reason for the renewal of the machinery in our company is primarily to shorten delivery times, but also to reduce the volume of residual material and thus reduce the amount of waste produced. We have already verified that by using the up-to-date machinery, it is possible to significantly optimise the use of steel and other materials and thus achieve financial savings while taking into account the environmental aspects of our operations.

The LS7 fiber laser is characterized by very high axis acceleration of up to 2 g, optimized processing cycles and minimized waiting times for individual steps. The full power of the laser is 12 kW and the output is fully controllable. Thanks to the all-electric mechanism for changing the grids carrying the cut sheet, productivity can be increased by up to 9% (with an average of 10 changes per hour). Removing the laser-cut parts and inserting the new sheet metal takes only a few seconds. This laser achieves excellent cutting quality without burrs. The laser cutting head automatically adapts to the thickness of the material and ensures a clean and precise cut. The result is consistent workmanship that meets the highest expectations. The machine uses specific technological solutions that automatically adapt to different thicknesses and material types (stainless steel, aluminium, low carbon steel, copper and others).

The machine arrived at our production plant on Monday, January 29th, after which it was installed, switched to trial production and is currently being prepared to be put into live operation.
